Acrylics and Oil Paint
This was the first time painting on a canvas this big. I had only used oil paint once before this but figured I would experiment. This now hangs on a wall in my neighbors house, the one who asked my to paint it for her.
First commission using oil paint
Each year I paint something for my little brothers birthday. Usually he asks me to paint tanks or planes but this past year he asked me to paint him a Mourning Gecko. I was delighted to try something new and had fun while making it. He loves it and even set it up on the wall above one of his fish tanks.

Both the red tree and the castle are a few of my mixed medium paintings. Both use acrylic and oil paint throughout for details and texture.
I got inspired to make this after accidently dropping a glass painting I made. I actually used the broken glass shards as an outline. I wanted to encapture what it felt like to have freedom restricted.
